It is vital that CPAs be involved in the political process and make their voices heard.  Because you live and vote in your legislator's district, you have a voice. And it's the job of your lawmakers to represent you.  But they can't effectively represent your interests unless you communicate with them around the issues you care about.  Your elected representatives pay close attention to grassroots points of view expressed by their constituents, and take those views into account when the final votes are cast. 

That's why YOU, as an informed and active constituent, can play the most important role of all in shaping legislation.  Choose to make a difference by becoming an active participant with others in policymaking.

We welcome all AICPA Members to use this site to communicate with their Member(s) of Congress, but you must first be a registered user.  Please click on the link to the right to register, once you fill out the form, an email will be sent to you with your login information.

PLEASE NOTE:  Once you are logged in to the system all users are "zipcode matched" to their Members of Congress.  If you would like to communicate to your Member electronically please use the appropriate links.  If you are a Federal Key Person and have a relationship with a Member who is not in your District please use the Federal Legislator Search on the main menu to find the appropriate Member and obtain office information.  Please remember to send a copy of any/all communications to congaffairs@aicpa.org.
