Congress should take action to ensure that America’s health care system place a greater emphasis on wellness and disease prevention rather than only treating people that have become sick. That’s why chiropractic care is a vital component of any health care reform proposal. It is important that any national health care plan enacted by Congress includes direct access to chiropractic services as a guaranteed, covered benefit. We cannot achieve a wellness and prevention based-system without guaranteed access to essential services delivered by a Doctor of Chiropractic.
